He is a GenX'er, and this is important because of the time in NYC in which he matured. Chris grew up in a strict household, with a distant dad and mom. When tragedy struck his family, everything changed, and forced Chris to grow in ways he never expected.
In this episode, I interview Chris. Chris is a native New Yorker, now living and working as an actor in Los Angeles. He is a GenX'er, and this is important only because of the era in NYC in which he matured. Chris was raised an only boy in a strict household, with a distant dad and mom, and two sisters. When tragedy struck his family, everything changed, and Chris was forced to grow in ways he never expected.
Chris has been through it all. Adopted at birth, along with another sister, he grew up in a household of 5, where no one really talked, at least about what mattered. As Chris aged, events occurred and a secret he had been hiding was revealed, causing a rift that ended in a tragic circumstance.
Chris was not derailed for long, though. He looked at the tragedy as an opportunity to take some of the lessons he learned growing up, twisting them into a shape that worked best for him, and then paying the lessons forward.
I really enjoyed this interview, and think you will find that no matter what adversity the universe threw at Chris, he ultimately found a way to pave a different road for himself.
